Playground to Hollywood Stars
During Hollywood’s silent screen era celebrities started to flock to an oasis in the desert call Palm Springs. Since that time, movie stars continue flocked to the desert and make Palm Springs a popular celebrity getaway. Palm Springs is home to many famous celebrities from Hollywood. Unique Architecture

Palm Springs boasts one of the worlds best collections of modernist architecture. In the mid-20th century, wealthy individuals and celebrities from nearby Los Angeles had villas built in the emerging resort city. Revered Californian modernists like John Lautner, Richard Neutra, and Albert Frey all built some of their best-known works in the city. These homes were then captured by photographer Julius Schulman which shape the image of the Southern Californian lifestyle during the 1950s and 1960s
